VISION
To be THE LEADER in providing logistics solutions and specialty services to the healthcare sector |
Message from Cameron
Unveiling our new name marked the end of an interesting and enlightening rebranding process with great suggestions from our staff and insightful feedback from our clients over the past year. The internal surveys, rebranding exercises and group discussions revealed a lot about who we are based on how we see ourselves today and in the future. The results indicated we hold strength in efficiency, client support, great employee morale and promise for greater leadership in the future. Accuristix - Advancing Healthcare Logistics clearly reflects our vision, supports our differentiators around innovation and healthcare focus, and reaffirms that our efforts are focused on your industry, your supply chain and the unique demands of your business.
In the midst of all the rebranding, we continued to enhance our services and invest in infrastructure. Earlier this summer, we officially opened our new distribution centre in Delta, British Columbia. The new location has improved service efficiencies and accessibility for those who receive product shipments from the Pacific Rim. And, with the option to warehouse goods in both Western and Eastern Canada, clients can now benefit from reduced lead times to western customers.
Our most recent initiatives in Information Technology and Customer Care have been progressing well. Specifically, we continue to evolve supply chain visibility upstream into inbound logistics, enhance our returns and reverse logistics, and manage our relationships more effectively with increasing use and functionality of our CRM system. We are also getting closer to officially rolling out our new Warehouse and Transportation Management system, Red Prairie. Stay tuned for more updates on this in the coming months.
We recognize it's essential that our best practices reflect the service excellence you require to fulfill your business needs. This is why we continue to invest in our people through ongoing training and skills development seminars within all areas of our business. We're focused on recruiting and retaining great people - many of whom possess the unique skills sets that encompass both healthcare and logistics expertise. The healthcare knowledge of our staff plays a large role in building our client-focused solutions by providing us with a greater awareness of your needs from your perspectives.
With that in mind, it's important for us to remain abreast of the evolving Canadian healthcare landscape. We are well aware of the changes within the industry as a result of constantly shifting regulatory and legislative environments. We understand these changes may impact some of your businesses and your customers. If there's a need to adjust your business model, we are here to respond to that need and take the necessary steps to ensure your expectations are met. We made a commitment to be a reliable solution for your logistics needs, and we are focused on making ongoing enhancements to uphold that commitment as we move forward.
Regards,

MISSION
Partnering with our healthcare clients to MEET THEIR CUSTOMER'S NEEDS through excellence and innovation |
New electronic returns system
Accuristix has made great strides with the launch of a new one of a kind online automated returns module. The new module provides clients with greater visibility, detail comprehensive reporting, online functionality and quicker processing time.
“We developed this new module to automate the manual returns process so our clients have the ability to approve and make their changes online, eliminating the process of traditional labour intensive paper-based transactions,” says Joe Futino, Director of Information Technology.
The goal was to offer clients an electronic returns system that was tailored to their individual business needs. “All returns policies are now electronically processed and configured to each client, including specifics on how and when to credit the customer, what percentage to credit, and what is deemed expired,” says Futino. “This enhanced process will result in greater efficiency and quicker turnaround time for returns.”
The new system also allows for EDI integration from the point of inputting a return, to approval and finally closing. Clients with an ERP system also have the ability to integrate their application with this new module without any additional data entry. Now, with the ability to produce online and real-time reports, all returns are automatically processed and documented.
If you’d like to explore the features of our new returns program, please contact your Client Solutions Manager for more details.

Accuristix receives LGFB award
Accuristix was presented with their fifth Look Good Feel Better (LGFB) Gold sponsorship Appreciation award at the foundation’s Cocktails and Crystals event held in May.
LGFB is Canada’s only cancer charity dedicated to empowering women to manage the effects that cancer and its treatment has on their appearance, and often their morale. Accuristix has been an official supporter of the program since 2001.
Sponsorship goes towards free, two-hour hands-on workshops in which women whose appearance has been affected by cancer and cancer treatment learn how to look and feel a little more like themselves again. Canadian Cosmetic Toiletry and Fragrance Association (CCTFA) members generously donate cosmetics and personal care products for the workshop and complimentary take-home kits.
“There are so many ways to give and as our ‘services in-kind’ logistics partner, we recognize the expertise that Accuristix brings to managing the storage and distribution of Look Good Feel Better workshop kits,” says Sherry Abbott, Executive Director of LGFB. “We will continue to look to Accuristix and their expertise to ensure we optimize our operational efficiencies.”
Accuristix donates 100 skids of warehouse space to LGFB to store cosmetics and personal care products that are given away in a complimentary kit to each of the LGFB workshop participants. Transportation services are also donated to deliver the kits to over 100 host-site cancer care facilities and hospitals from coast-to-coast.
