On January 1, 2004 the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) came into effect. Other similar provincial legislation also addresses the same issues – when and how personal information can be validly collected, used and disclosed. Accuristix has decided to adopt the national privacy policy, compliant with all such legislation.
Accuristix regards the lawful and correct treatment of personal information as being the utmost importance. It demonstrates the level of respect Accuristix holds for its customers. Therefore, Accuristix has adopted a personal information policy. Each Accuristix employee is required to comply with the Accuristix personal information policy and Accuristix is taking necessary measures to ensure compliance.
